The mother of all antique malls plays host to this weekly band of green grocers
-- and you better arrive hungry. Free samples of everything from peaches,
plums, grapes and strawberries to kettle korn and fresh cut flowers don't
just wait for you to ask, they come right out of the booths and compete for
your savory approval. Vernie heads the welcome wagon, greeting you at the
edge of the pavilion. Check out her home made olive oil and seedless grapes.
Scattaglia Farms and Underwood Ranch put out a nice bushel or two of summer
favorites as well. The Corn Maiden shares her gourmet tamales and the Oasis
boasts fresh taboule, hummus and grape leaves. The kids will always go for
the rainbow hued nectar of California Snow's snow cones, but the Wagon Wheel
Bakery takes the cake with their incredible confections. -- WEBSITE-TO-GO!
